Who We Are
We are a dedicated team of students passionate about making university life more accessible and efficient. Our University Navigator Project was developed to help students, visitors, and faculty easily locate buildings, departments, and services across campus using an interactive map and real-time navigation features.
What We've Done
Throughout this project, we conducted extensive campus surveys, mapped key landmarks using GPS data, and developed a responsive web application that integrates with browser Geolocation API. We also collaborated with university departments to ensure accurate and updated information. Our project simplifies campus navigation, reduces confusion for newcomers, and improves overall accessibility.
Project Background
This project was created as part of our practical training in geoinformatics, using tools like QGIS, Mergin maps, leaflet.js etc to digitize and publish geospartial data. Our goal is to simplify movement across the campus and provide a reliable guide to anyone unfamiliar with university compounds
